2017 Cansford Labs Forensic Science Prize Winner Announced

Cansford Labs is pleased to announce that BSc Forensic Science student Charlotte Fearn has been awarded the 2017 Cansford Labs Prize for The Best Performance in Forensic Science at the University of South Wales graduation week. A total of 10 prizes were awarded to those who have consistently achieved excellent grades throughout their studies, as well as those who had produced exemplary final year projects or performed very well on work placements.

Charlotte graduated with a First Class degree B.Sc. (Hons) in Forensic Science having studied Advanced Analytical Chemistry, Toxicology, Fire & Explosion Investigation, Human Molecular Genetics and Forensic DNA Analysis in her final studies along with Research, Professional Practice and Employability in which she looked at Advances in the estimation of Post Mortem Interval through Thanatochemistry.

Cansford Labs congratulates Charlotte’s achievement in winning this award and is pleased to support the Analytical and Forensic Science/Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science subject area within The School of Applied Sciences at The University of South Wales.
